Are Paid Surveys Sites Legitimate Home Business?

Have you noticed that online surveys are now constantly advertised everywhere you search for home business opportunities? Taking paid surveys has recently become one of the hottest money-making trends online. The reason is, paid surveys can be very profitable with very little effort. Most surveys pay $10-15 while some will pay $50-75 per survey for about 15-30 minutes out of your time. Some even offer up to $150 to participate in focus groups. The perks are that you choose the amount of time to spend while taking these surveys.

Imagine this: say you spend 15 minutes taking a $15 survey. You decide to take 4 more. Within 1 hour you have just made $60. Now say you take another hour to take 4 more later on in the day. Well, that gives you $120 in just one day. Multiply $120×5 days and you made $600 in just 1 week. That’s not bad for only a 10 hour week.

Paid surveys may also be one of the biggest scams online. Many websites will sell you directories, memberships or daily emails with leads. Many more websites just simply sell you empty promises. Many times people do not notice that they will have to take a survey prescreen to determine if you will even be selected to participate in the survey. The prescreen is way for the companies to determine if you are qualified to take the survey. They will then advise you an invitation willl be sent to your email if chosen. The prescreen survey does not pay you, but will enter you into a weekly or monthly drawing for $5- $250. Now that is for drawing winners only.

When determining whether a paid survey website is reputable or not, make sure they offer a money back guarantee. Check and see if they write it all in caps suggesting that you’re going to make an outrageous amount of money just for taking surveys. Also check to see if they are offering prescreening or already have surveys ready to be taken. You alwasy have the option to email your questions or concerns. That is they do have an email to answer you questions.

Go with your gut instinct…if it sounds too good to be true…then it probably is. Alwasy read between the lines before you signup or pay to join and programs. Hey, your trying to make money-not throw it away!

I will be conducting more research on paid surveys, so keep checking back for updates.
